Of course you can! We will transport wheelchairs and other assistive devices at no additional cost, either as a checked baggage or in the cabin.
Electric Wheelchair: please arrive at the airport check-in counter three (3) hours prior to your scheduled departure time so our staff can verify the necessary documentation, check the device, and issue a baggage receipt. Battery-powered assistive devices with non-spillable batteries can be transported in the cargo hold free of charge.
Manual Wheelchair: cabin transport depends on whether the device can be safely stored in the overhead compartment or in the aircraft closet, please be aware of the following maximum dimensions allowed:
•Overhead bin:
47” (length) x 17” (height) x 20” (depth)
[119 cm x 43 cm x 51 cm]
•Aircraft closet: Not all aircrafts have a closet.
56” (height) x 41” (length) x 13” (width)
[144 cm x 104 cm x 35 cm approx.]
Important: If it cannot be accommodated in the cabin, the device will be transported in the cargo hold at no extra charge.
